Does Sulfur8 Grow Hair?

Sulfur8 can help with hair growth! It contains 2% sulfur, an element that’s essential to the production of keratin (the protein that makes up your hair, skin, and nails).

Keratin production slows as we age, which is why our hair often becomes thinner and less lustrous as we get older. Sulfur can help to stimulate keratin production, resulting in fuller, thicker hair. But that's not the only way that Sulfur8 aids in hair growth.

A young black lady with chemically altered hair used a scalp conditioner to relieve her itchy scalp.

The sulfur in Sulfur8 also works by decreasing overactive sebum production, an issue that can cause clogged hair follicles and hair loss. In addition, it has anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties, which can help to soothe the scalp and promote hair growth.

The product also helps with hair growth by facilitating blood circulation throughout the scalp. This ensures that your hair follicles have enough oxygen to support healthy hair growth.

Lastly, it's believed that sulfur helps to lengthen the anagen phase (growth phase) of the hair cycle.

By lengthening this phase, Sulfur8 helps to increase users’ overall hair growth rates. While Sulfur8 won't work miracles, it can certainly give your hair a boost!

How to Use Sulfur8 for Hair Growth

Now that you know that Sulfur8 can help with hair growth, you're probably wondering how to use it. For the best results, apply Sulfur8 to your scalp before bed.

Doing so will give the product time to work overnight when your body is already in repair mode. Simply massage a small amount of the product into your scalp and get your Zs.

You don't have to wash the Sulfur8 out of your hair.

In fact, washing it off will decrease its efficacy. You can also use Sulfur8 on your actual hair. Apply it to the ends of your hair to seal in moisture and prevent split ends.

Signs Sulfur8 Is Not for You

While Sulfur8 is generally safe for most people, there are a few exceptions. Keep reading to find out if you're a good candidate for Sulfur8.

If you have sensitive skin, you may want to avoid using Sulfur8 on your scalp.

This is because sulfur can be drying and irritating to sensitive skin. If you decide to use the product, do a patch test first to ensure you’re not sensitive to it.

If you have open sores, cuts, or abrasions on your scalp, you should avoid using Sulfur8. Putting Sulfur8 on an irritated scalp can result in burning and increased irritation.

Lastly, if you're sensitive to smells, you may want to avoid using Sulfur8. It has a strong sulfur smell that some people find unbearable.

Sulfur8 Also Heals Dandruff

Sulfur8 isn't just for hair growth. You can also use it for controlling dandruff. Don't know what dandruff is? It's a condition that causes your scalp to shed dead skin cells.

This can lead to scalp itchiness, redness, and flaking. Dandruff is often caused by a fungus called Malassezia, which feeds on the oils produced by your skin.

Sulfur8 treats dandruff in a few ways:

  • Thanks to its antifungal properties, the sulfur in Sulfur8 kills the fungus responsible for dandruff.
  • Sulfur8 helps to reduce the amount of oil produced by your scalp. Being that your scalp oils are the fungus’s food source, this results in an improvement in dandruff symptoms.
  • Sulfur8 has a tingly quality that helps to soothe the itchiness and redness caused by dandruff.

To use Sulfur8 to treat dandruff, simply apply it to your scalp and massage it in.

You can use it up to 4 times a day. If your dandruff is severe, you may need to use it more often at first, then reduce the frequency as your symptoms improve.

How Long Does It Take to See Results with Sulfur8?

When using any hair product, it is important to be patient and give it time to work. Depending on the person's hair type, it can take a few weeks to see results with Sulfur8.

It may take even longer for those with dry or damaged hair to see a difference. However, with regular use, most people see new hair growth within a few weeks.

Where to Find Sulfur8

Sulfur8 can be found in many places. First, check your local grocery store. Many stores now carry Sulfur8 – you can usually find it in the haircare aisle. If you can't find it at your local grocery store, try a drugstore or big box store.

Sulfur8 is also available online at many retailers.

Pros and Cons of Sulfur8

Just because Sulfur8 is a medicated hair product doesn’t mean that it’s perfect. There are both pros and cons to using Sulfur8. Consider both before deciding to use, or pass on, the product.

Pros:

  • Sulfur8 is beloved by many who use it. They swear that the product restored their hair even when other remedies and treatments didn’t work.
  • Sulfur8 is cheap compared to other scalp and hair treatments. You can get it home for less than $10.
  • Sulfur8 has been around for decades, so you can trust the brand.

Cons:

  • Sulfur8 doesn’t work fast. People may be disappointed when they don’t see results overnight.
  • Sulfur8 has a distinct smell that some people can’t handle.

Other Things You Can Do to Increase Hair Growth

To maximize your results while you're using Sulfur8, you'll want to take other measures to promote hair growth. Here are a few things you can do:

  • Overhaul your diet. A nutritious diet is essential for hair growth. If you don’t get enough veggies and fruits, the time to fix that is now.
  • Get regular exercise. Exercise helps to increase blood circulation everywhere, including your hair follicles. So, get active!
  • Take vitamins. Certain vitamins and supplements can promote hair growth, including iron, biotin, and vitamin C. Consult your doctor to find out whether you should take vitamins for hair growth.
  • Reduce stress. It’s a well-known fact that stress precedes hair loss. So, practice stress-relieving activities like yoga or meditation to help reduce stress levels and reverse hair loss.
