Transcript

Does rosemary oil really grow hair? The main study behind it was done on 100 men with pattern hair loss, and it never measured anyone's hair length.

This is Curl Science by Curl Centric. Every week, we take one piece of hair advice you've probably heard and check it against the research. Each episode takes about six minutes, covers every curl type from 2A to 4C, and ends with what to try on your next wash day.

In the first five episodes, you'll hear why half an inch a month is only one of two answers from the same study, why the float test can't tell you your porosity, what rice water was actually tested on, why curly hair isn't weak hair, and what that rosemary study can and can't tell you.

Curl Science is researched and written by the Curl Centric team, and it's read by an AI voice. Follow the show in your podcast app, and a new episode will show up every Thursday.
